ABOUT US :Welcome to the Guidance, Counseling and Career Services Directorate of Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra State Nigeria. In order to actualize the number one point agenda of our visionary Rector DR CHIOMA IRENE AWUZIE, which is Human Resources Development, this Directorate has been saddled with the responsibilities of offering counseling services to both students and staff of this institution in all areas of life; and to offer Career Services to our students. Career Services are a set of services and academic supports provided to students at higher education institutions, aimed at assisting students’ transition from school to the workplace. We supports our students through all stages of their career development in order to enable them to live meaningful lives and become responsible leaders of tomorrow. It is our vision to accompany students through all stages of their career development process to enable them become highly employable and globally competitive individuals equipped with the requisite skills and competencies. We focus on students’ capacity development, which is continuous through every academic year.
